How clever of you to be able to make green oak pegs to repair a beam that had come down in the barn due to woodworm in the original pegs. The beam was put up there in 1863.

I firmly believe there is a market for such a well produced product made from lovely old wood. I am sure there are home craft organisations who would add the product
to their offerings. If I think of one I will let you know.

Ellie did a wonderful job of making a board for our wedding cake, dealing with her was a pleasure and she was incredibly careful to make sure we were happy with her work.
We were of course happy to have let her take the lead once we had described what we wanted, and it's very much down to her that we have ended up with a wonderful board
which we look forward to using for many years. Ellie recommended that we use Spalted Maple as well, which is great as it's much lighter than expected for a board of this size.
