Most of the following are
stock items and are continuously replaced. We cannot guarantee the type
of wood in stock. Most of the kitchen items are finished in food safe
mineral oil or rapeseed oil. We don't use other food oils as they can go
rancid or sticky. Many variations can be made to order.
Spatulas are made in a variety of hard woods including Walnut, Ash,
Beech, Oak and all the fruit woods. They can be used in non-stick
saucepans or bowls. They have one straight edge and one curved edge to
get into the corners.
Finish: food safe mineral oil or rapeseed oil.

Porridge Spurtles are made in a large variety of hardwoods - for example
- Sycamore, Beech, Apple, Ash, Walnut, Cherry, Maple and Oak. Size 10" to 14" long. Porridge spurtles originate from Scotland and make a better, smoother porridge than using a spoon! Sieve Pusher/ Muddler/ Pestle made in various hard woods and fruit woods.
Sieve pushers are used to press fruits and vegetables through a

Napkin Rings are typically made in sets of 6 or 8 - although, they can be
supplied in any quantity - with or without a stand. Napkin rings are usually 1
¾" (45 mm) diameter by 1 3/8" (35 mm) high. They

Pestle and Mortar made in Cider Apple from Kenn, South
Devon and Pear from Great Somerford, Wiltshire. These two woods
are used as they are the most abrasion resistant English woods.
They are both traditionally used for the teeth of mill wheels in
water and wind mills. Pestles and mortars can be made to any
size from 2" diameter upwards and are only made to order. Finish: usually finished in polyurethane or a two part bar top plastic coating. They can be finished with a thick epoxy resin in the bottom of the mortar left slightly rough to assist grinding. Guide price: £35 - £60 |
